Lincoln Burrows

Lincoln, a known high school dropout and a convict, as he was mistakenly accused of killing the United States Vice President’s brother, Terence Steadman. Purcell was chosen to be Lincoln, three days just before production. He was one of those actors who eventually got the role of the original cast. He had a role as Tommy Ravetto from North Shore, when he had to audition for Lincoln. He had an amicable professional relationship with Fox, which must have given him a chance to get the pilot script for Prison Break.

Scheuring’s first thoughts was not very promising, when he saw Purcell the first time, the actor was wearing a hair style and top of a class tan, which made him not quite like Lincoln’s character. Purcell’s maverick acts, change all the first impressions, and got the role. On the first day, he came in with his shaved head, which surprises Scheuring, as the two lead roles, look like real brothers!
