He befriended Sara Tancredi , the doctor of Fox River State Penitentiary, pretending to be attacked by Type 1 diabetes, so he can get in the prison’s infirmary! As the execution date approaches, their real friend Veronica Donovan, as she studies the sinister plan that will cause Lincoln’s execution!

As the covert agents of “The Company” try to foil their plans, unknowingly to Lincoln, Veronica and Michael, they were taking revenge to his father, Aldo Burrows. Lincoln and Michael’s father had deep connection in the company. Despite their efforts to execute Michael, the Fox River Eight, Charles“Haywire” Patoshik , John Abruzzi, David “Tweener” Apolskis , Benjamin Miles “C Note” Franklin , “T-Bag” Bagwell and Fernando Sucre escapes, outwitting the Company, as the first season ends.
